MATRIX technical assistance
Supplied on several levels according to the maintenance model adopted by the customer:
- corrective maintenance (as required)
- remote assistance
provided by phone, fax or e-mail; anomalies or the indicated faults are analysed so as to furnish immediate support and correct source of machine stoppage; if the plant is fitted with tele-diagnostics the high quantity of obtainable information speeds up the diagnosis;
- on-site assistance
provided by direct visit of one or more highly skilled mechanical, hydraulic, electrotechnical and/or electrical technicians;
preventive and planned maintenance
- planning / inspections executed by MATRIX
according to production requirements periodical work on those press components subject to wear and fatigue is carried out; analysis of the inspection results follows; any work, component replacement or repairs can then be executed; if the plant is fitted with tele-diagnostics several inspections can be executed remotely at higher frequencies and lower cost;
- planning / inspections carried out by customer
after a training / support period with assistance from MATRIX technicians, the customer can independently plan inspection of press components subject to wear and fatigue; MATRIX always remains at your disposal to provide all the necessary support;
MATRIX spare parts
In the event that a malfunction is detected and the components to be replaced are unavailable, MATRIX promptly supplies the necessary components (commercially available components and original MATRIX parts). Commercial components:
- supply of component equal to the original – a large quantity of commercial original components are available in MATRIX warehouses, especially components critical for machine operation or components not easily attainable; should the item not be present in his own warehouse, MATRIX is in a position to supply any customer with nearly 20,000 articles used on the presses;
- supply of equivalent component – in the case that a component equal to the original one was no longer available, MATRIX is in a position to supply alternative equivalent components, adapted if necessary, while maintaining the same original technical characteristics of MATRIX components.
- supply of component equal to original – using original technical documents (more then 10,000 drawings) and thanks to the large machine tools present in our internal workshop, MATRIX is in a position to reproduce, quickly and independently, any press part produced from the early 70s to today.
